Smart Home System  |  Interactive Technology  |  Data Visualization  |  Calm Technology

A smart home system / calm technology proposed for The Peak Tiny House by Grimshaw Architects. In the era of interruptive technology, people have used to the convenience of one-tap access using tech gadgets. While people enjoying that convenience, our rhythm of lives has unavoidably affected by it. Research shows that 82% of Australian workers have work issues spill into their home lives, even when they have a clear distinction between one and the other. In 2020, the work-from-home culture due to the global pandemic has proven the downside of inseparable events and place settings. A home is where people should get mentally and physically detached entirely in order to dive deep into productivity again. The Peak Tiny House seeks to provide affordable, sustainable while offering modern home features. It is even more significant to amplify the unwinding moments in the compact living space. The design has to consider the feasibility and using the right amount of technology within limited space and budget.
